NCBC is part of a network of state, territory and tribal coalitions across the country, connected to one another through the United States Breastfeeding Committee, and working toward breastfeeding advocacy in each of our respective states.

State Programs: North Carolina has made great strides in the support of breastfeeding and offers a number of resources for breastfeeding advocates. Read more about what our state is doing to support breastfeeding.
NCBC Projects: NCBC runs a number of ongoing breastfeeding advocacy programs including the Ban the Bags campaign, and Breastfeeding Friendly Workplaces and Businesses. You do not need to be an NCBC member to participate in these advocacy programs.
Materials for Professionals: NCBC maintains a series of breastfeeding handouts that cover many Frequently Asked Questions. These resources are evidence-based, updated annually, and free to download and distribute.
North Carolina Regional Breastfeeding Coalitions: Within North Carolina, there are also a number of regional coalitions that work to protect, promote and support breastfeeding in their area.
