Category : Uncategorized

How are you celebrating World Breastfeeding Week? Let us know and view events of other North Carolinians by visiting our WBW webpage!! More importantly, let the world know by adding your event to the global map at the WBW’s website (click pledge form to add your event). Don’t forget, WBW ends August 7th, but National Breastfeeding Month lasts all month long and Black Breastfeeding Week begins August 25th. Plenty of time to celebrate breastfeeding, and inspire action all year long. Thanks for all you do!

Call for Volunteers

Category : Uncategorized

Hello NCBC members,

We are fast approaching our mid-year turnover in leadership with the Golden Bow, Business Case, and Mother-Baby Clinic Awards. Beginning July 1, there will be an opening for the assistant chair position within each of these committees. Additionally, there are still many openings for local leadership in all three committees. If you are at all interested in learning about these positions, please visit http://ncbfc.org/volunteer-opportunities/ and download the volunteer descriptions. Additionally, if you have any questions please feel free to contact Hope Lima (hklima@ncsu.edu).
Thank you for all your support – this organization can’t thrive without it.
