Breastfeeding FAQ

There’s a lot to learn about breastfeeding. Explore our educations materials to learn more about common topics such as milk storage and breastfeeding during illness, a prenatal guide to breastfeeding and tips for returning to work.

NCBC Handouts

Prenatal Booklet

This booklet, created by the Triangle Breastfeeding Alliance, is designed to be used prenatally to give mothers-to-be an idea of what to expect and to encourage them to choose to breastfeed their babies. It would be ideal for a hospital registration information packet or in new mothers’ packets at clinics, WIC Programs or private physicians’ practices. It could be used at childbirth and/or breastfeeding classes.

NYC Mothers Guide to Breastfeeding

This 25-page breastfeeding PDF guide made my New York City Health Department and covers nearly every topic relevant to breastfeeding families. This is a wonderful introduction to the general breastfeeding information.
